At NefeeCleaner, we believe that your device's file system is your private domain. This Privacy Policy details our rigorous standards for data protection and our commitment to zero-collection of personal content.

The Architecture of Local Privacy

NefeeCleaner is a specialized utility designed to identify and remove APK files, residual data, and temporary system files.

Scope of Access: To function, NefeeCleaner requires "All Files Access" or specific storage permissions.
Local Processing: We utilize a "Local-Only" processing model. This means the scan engine analyzes your file metadata (size, path, and type) exclusively on your CPU and RAM.
Zero Transmission: No information regarding your files, the apps you have installed, or the content of your storage is ever transmitted to our servers or any third-party cloud.

Third-Party Service Providers

To maintain app stability and optimize our distribution, we integrate limited third-party tools. These platforms do not see your files but may process pseudonymized technical identifiers.

Firebase (Google): We use this for real-time crash monitoring and basic usage telemetry (e.g., "was the scan successful?").
Attribution & Analytics (e.g., Adjust, AppsFlyer): These platforms help us track the effectiveness of our marketing. They typically process technical IDs like your IDFA (iOS) or GAID (Android).
Confidentiality: These partners are strictly prohibited from using this technical data for any purpose other than providing services to NefeeCleaner.

Legal Grounds for Data Processing

Our processing of information is governed by the following legal bases:

Performance of Contract: We process your local file metadata specifically to execute the cleaning service you have initiated.
Legitimate Interests: We process non-identifiable technical data to ensure the security, stability, and commercial viability of NefeeCleaner.

Your Statutory Rights

Regardless of your location, NefeeCleaner provides the following protections for your information:

                Right to Access: You have the right to request a summary of any data we
                        process. Since we do not store your personal files, any access request would pertain solely to
                        technical logs or support interactions.
Right to Correction: If you find that any information we hold about you is
                        inaccurate or incomplete, you may demand its immediate correction.
Right to Deletion: You have the absolute right to request the erasure of your
                        data. Uninstalling the app immediately destroys all local scan history. For technical data held
                        by our partners, you may contact our DPO.
Right to Information on Sharing: You have the right to be informed about
                        whether your data is shared. NefeeCleaner only shares technical identifiers with the operational
                        partners listed in Section 2.
Right to Know About Sales: You have the right to know if your data is being
                        sold. NefeeCleaner does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for any
                        reason.

            

Opting Out of Sharing and Selling

We do not sell data. However, you can exercise your right to opt-out of data sharing for analytics or attribution through your device's operating system:

For Android: Navigate to Settings > Privacy > Ads > "Opt out of Ads Personalization."
For iOS: Navigate to Settings > Privacy > "Tracking" and disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track."

Data Retention Protocols

Local Data: Scan results and temporary file lists are volatile; they exist only during the app session or until you clear the app cache.
Technical Analytics: Data processed by our third-party partners is retained for the minimum duration required to generate aggregated reports, typically not exceeding 14 months, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

NefeeCleaner hereby grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable license to use this software solely for personal storage management on a device owned or controlled by you.

User Obligations & Restrictions

By using NefeeCleaner, you agree that you will not:

Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying scanning logic of the app.
Use the app to interfere with the device's critical system files or bypass OS security.
Redistribute or resell the software or any of its components.

Intellectual Property

The NefeeCleaner name, logo, scan algorithms, and user interface are the exclusive intellectual property of NefeeCleaner. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.

Disclaimer of Warranty

NefeeCleaner is provided "AS IS." While we strive for precision, we do not guarantee that the scan will identify every redundant file or that it will not occasionally flag a file you wish to keep. It is your responsibility to review the deletion list before confirming the clean-up.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NefeeCleaner and its developers shall not be liable for any data loss, device malfunction, or indirect damages resulting from the use or misuse of the application.

Termination

This license terminates automatically if you violate any of the terms listed above. Upon termination, you must delete all copies of the software.
